So the underground rumors are spreading wildly and piercing through the popular social surface, and one of them really caught my eye. Is Lord Toph a werewolf? Rumors have been circulating about Lord Toph being “more than meets the eye!”(and NO, he is not a transformer..lol corny I know..) Well, Let’s go over the facts;
- They say he is “nocturnal ”
- You never see in during the day (with the exception of a photo caught of him shopping for girlfriend, Megan Fox).
- He is very reclusive
- He has long, sharp, fingernails (Claws maybe?)
- At the beginning of the his music video , “ What Am I?”, you can clearly hear the werewolf issue being addressed;

Guy- Well, its certainly better than the werewolf rumors last time (shows a shot of a full moon with a flash of a beast in the middle of the moon).
Also they were very clever in trying to mask this claim. If you look closely, you can see that the clouds make up a dark face (I don’t know if this is special effects, but I doubt it) and it is right before the beast face appears. And the moon just so happens to be a “full moon”
Call all of this circumstantial or call me a conspiracy theorist, or just plain F***** delusional (and they always say “I’m not crazy..lol). All I know is what I see, and with the evidence of his activity (Nocturnal, reclusive) and his songs (Madness, The Cure, What Am I?) I’d Say that I am certainly on to something. Or maybe I’ve seen too many movies lol!

Robert Downey Jr is unstoppable right now! Since his explosion onto the screen as the uber-hot playboy billionaire, Tony Stark, he has been the hottest ticket in hollywood (is that corny??? Sorry lol)! He has an upcoming film with Jamie Foxx called "The Soloist" about a homeless schizo (Foxx) who is befriended by a journalist (Downey). And now he will of course be Sherlock Holmes, and non other than Jude Law will be Watson! How can they do this to me? How can any woman take two of the world's hottest actors on one screen? lol! Maybe I am a little dramatic about it but I do not care.
The question that I have is who said that Robert wasn't always on top?? I mean, ok, he had a couple of run-ins with the law (is that an understatement?) but he is always consistent with his work (Zodiac, Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang, and the underground Singing Detective). So does it always take a huge blockbuster to make a celebrity back on top? Or does it just take a nice pair of tights (or in this case, iron tights)?

Ok So We all know of the upcoming Star Trek movie is going to be super huge, but is it because of the long-time geek following, or because the project having JJ Abrams (the genius behind Lost and Cloverfield- - which scared the s*** outta me ). If it has any of the creativity that Lost has, then I will have no problem seeing this movie! I am not a huge Star Trek fan ( up until 7th grade, I didn't know the difference between that and Star Wars.. don't laugh :0), but I am in it for the acting, and action. I like a good action movie and hopefully this won't disappoint. You never know though, lately the big budget movies don't pack the punch like they used to...(Babylon A.D. anyone?)

Hey everyone. Its been a while since I last posted so I am making up for lost time (school and work...what can you do?). Radiohead is back and surely in top form!!! They shocked the world with the "pay what you want" release of "In Rainbows" and sold 1.2 million in a day! Not to mention that the lead singer is the most awkwardly hot genius around (next to Robert Downey Jr. of course!!). How is it that there albums just keep getting better?
Radiohead is certainly one of my favorite bands (next to Train and My Chemical Romance...sorry about the last one. lol) and every album has been amazing ( except for Kid A...it was okay). If only Coldplay could be half as good as them, right???
In the end, the only thing that will satisfy everyone after an album like this is another album of course!

The rumor is that he is dating Megan Fox. Megan or no Megan, people are still being racist towards Lord Toph. Why are so many people determined to “hate” a “black” Goth rocker?
I know what most of you all are thinking. “OMG!! What the f***? I am not racist!!
But hear me out, everyone. I’m not saying that everyone is racist, I’m just saying that a lot of people are not willing to accept drastic change, when it first comes along. I am studying mass communications, and I am pay attention to the changes that we go through. I remember when Eminem first came out in 1999 (or was it 2000? idk for sure). His first album debuted . Although he has harsh songs (and he is super hott!!) everyone was bashing him because he was a “white” guy trying to rap.

Now he is the highest selling rapper ever! Sometimes change can be a good thing. I’m a 4th year collage student, and find conversing about the media, devilishly fun (hence why I just joined team sugar! Great site, by the way! lol )I’ve been looking at what people are celebrated for nowadays. Amy Winehouse is more of a celebrity for her drug abuse, than her talent for her music. I have nothing against Amy, but we can obviously see that the girl needs help.

We like to blow up the fact that she does drugs instead of music (and how many other celebrities do drugs…hmmm). Lord Toph is being criticized because he is coming into a field that a black person hasn’t done, as a solo artist. His music videos are being targeted because he is with white women. They call him Rick James, because of his perm. Hellloooo. Rick James never had a perm…ever! But James Brown can have one, and as long as he stays in a safe boundary, then we can call him the “Godfather of Soul”!!
I hope that we can accept the new celebrities of today. Especially the celebrities that can make a difference! So leave the Lord’s and the Winehouses alone!! (hmm…Lord of the Winehouse…sounds like a great book! lol j/k)
